Dilip Chhabria Returns With DC2 eTanq And Other Models At Auto Expo 2025
The e-Tanq is a product of the partnership between DC2, led by renowned automotive designer Dilip Chhabria, and Mercury EV-Tech Limited. the e-Tanq packs a massive 180 kWh battery, delivering an impressive 650 BHP of power.
Its rugged stance is complemented by a futuristic aesthetic, with oversized wheels, a high ground clearance, and muscular body lines.
DC2 Mercury, a subsidiary of the BSE-listed Mercury EV-Tech Limited, is an independent automotive design and development firm. Formed through a strategic partnership between Mercury EV-Tech and DC2, the company combines cutting-edge innovation with decades of design expertise.
Built at a cost of INR 18 crore, DC2 also unveiled Europa, an exclusive mobile showroom developed in collaboration with Goldmedal Electricals. DC2 also unveiled four other noteworthy models at the expo: the Vellfire Quad Luxe, a refined luxury version of the Toyota Vellfire, the Empyrean, a spacious and luxurious family vehicle, the Lex Lounge, designed for comfortable and premium commutes, and the e-Rover, a modern interpretation of the urban rickshaw.
