Chevrolet Beat LPG Spied

Spy time again. This time the Chevrolet Beat LPG was spied near the Mumbai – Pune highway, on its way to Pune for testing and certification from the ARAI. Two top end LT variants were seen bearing the LPG compliance plates and the LPG sticker on the front and rear windshields. The Beat LPG will be the second car from the GM stable to offer LPG as a factory fitment, the other being the Spark LPG.

With the diesel Beat coming only next year, the LPG version will make sure GM stays in the hunt as tough competition is brewing with the Nissan Micra joining the party soon. This LPG version will be fitted with the latest LPG kit and GM claims there will be no drop in power when the car shifts from petrol to gas mode or vice versa owing to the latest sequential injection technique. The Beat LPG should hit the market in 2 – 3 months time.
