BMW X3 M40i Launched In India, Priced At Rs. 86.50 Lakhs
BMW X3 M40i price revealed for the Indian market
BMW X3 M40i launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 86.50 lakhs (ex-showroom). This is the performance trim of the mid-size SUV that comes with sporty exterior and interior elements along with a powerful engine.
The X3 M40i will be imported to India directly as a completely built unit (CBU) and is available in limited numbers.
Exterior – It comes with a distinctive M double grille in high-gloss black with an M logo and adaptive LED headlights with Matrix tech. Other notable features include M exterior mirrors for better aero in high-gloss black, black chrome tailpipes, 20-inch M light alloy wheels and M Sport brakes with red callipers.
Interior – It gets M interior trim finishers in Carbon Fibre along with M leather steering wheel with contrast stitching in M colours. The interior gets electrical seat adjustment with memory function, exterior mirror package and M seat belts. It also comes with panoramic glass roof, Welcome Light Carpet, ambient lighting with six dimmable designs and electroplated controls.
Engine – The BMW X3 M40i is powered by an M TwinPower Turbo 3.0-litre in-line 6 engine producing 360 HP and 500 Nm torque. The car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/hr. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic Steptronic sport transmission.
Additionally it gets BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system that enhances traction, agility and vehicle stability. It comes with M Sport differential that further improves cornering and traction by electronically distributing power to individual wheels.
Technology – Some of the equipment includes BMW Live Cockpit Professional running on OS 7.0, 12.3-inch instrument cluster, BMW Gesture Control, Head-Up Display, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, inductive wireless charging, Parking Assistant Plus with a 360-degree camera and a Harman Kardon Surround Sound system.
Safety – The BMW X3 M40i is equipped with 6 airbags, Antilock Braking System (ABS) with brake assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), etc.
