Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z Spotted In Showrooms Before Official Launch, Gets Better Tyres & OBD2B Emission Norms Compliance

Bajaj has updated the Pulsar NS400Z after launching it at an extremely affordable price. These changes include grippier tyres and OBD2B emission norms compliance. It seems that ahead of the official market launch, Bajaj has already sent the NS400Z into the showrooms for potential buyers.

Bajaj launched the Pulsar NS400Z in 2024, presenting it as an extremely good value-for-money proposition. Bajaj announced an introductory price of Rs. 1.85 Lakh (ex-showroom). However, there were certain improvements which were suggested by riders and adding those meant an increase in price to Rs. 1.92 Lakh (ex-showroom).

The bike previously had MRF Revz tyres with a 140-section, which did not meet expectations. The new Pulsar NS400Z gets wider 150-section Apollo H1 Alpha tyres, according to the YouTube channel “Machine Rules”. New sintered brake pads will accompany the Grimeca brake callipers, helping to prevent brake fading.

The updated Pulsar NS400Z features a 373cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that delivers 39 HP and 35 Nm of torque. This configuration includes a 6-speed gearbox paired with a slipper clutch. The latest OBD2B emission norms are expected to be met by this engine.

Bajaj has fitted features like LED illumination, negative LCD instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation into the Pulsar NS400Z. Additionally, there is also a USB charging port and four ride modes: Rain, Road, Sport and Offroad. Overall, these updates allow customers to extract performance for the flagship Pulsar.
