Bajaj Likely To Launch Pulsar 200 SS In March, 4 Colours On Offer

Bajaj will be offering the Pulsar 200 SS in four colours dual-tone graphics while a black and gold colour option could also be on offer.

After over a year of wait, things are finally heading towards an impending launch with the Pulsar 200 SS that has been spotted on a number of occasions in different colour schemes across the globe. With the model already showcased in Turkey and Indonesia, recent reports suggest that Bajaj Auto could finally launch the full-faired sports bike by March in the country and is certainly one of the most significant launches for the Pune based manufacturer out of the six planned over the next six months.

As seen in the spy shots, we now know that Pulsar 200 SS will be available in a total of four colours on offer which include yellow, blue, red with a dual-tone paint scheme and an all-black colour option with gold decals. The black colour option with gold touches is very similar to the one offered earlier on the Yamaha R15. Colours play an important role to highlight the design of the vehicle and it looks like Bajaj has paid attention to the palette.

Sharing its underpinnings with the 200 NS, powering the Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS is the same 199.5cc single-cylinder engine updated with fuel-injection that will be tuned to produce 24.4 PS of power. The 200 SS will also come with projector headlamps, LED DRLs and tail light; a sporty riding position over the 200 NS and optional single-channel ABS sourced from Bosch. Prices for the new 200 SS is expected to start from Rs. 1.10 lakhs for the non-ABS version while the ABS equipped model will be priced at Rs. 1.20 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
