The Bahrain Formula 1 Grand Prix has been axed after teams refused to make amendments to the calender. The circuit chariman has gracefully accepted the decision. The race was originally scheduled for 30th March, 2011 but was called off due to political unrest in the country. The cancellation of the Bahrain GP only confirms the Indian F1 GP date, which will now take place on the 30th of October, as earlier planned. So those who plan to attend the inaugural grand prix in India, should book their flight/train tickets right away.
