Ather 450S launch soon, LCD display revealed

Ather 450S is scheduled for its launch on 3rd August. The new electric scooter will be the entry-level variant in the Ather lineup. It will come with a starting price of Rs. 1.29 lakhs (ex-showroom & excluding subsidy).

Bookings of the scooter will commence soon. The display you see here will be a coloured LCD unit. However, it is not a touchscreen unit and we believe it will be operated via the controls on the switchgear or the smartphone that will connect with the Bluetooth connectivity.

The display has multiple information to offer like ODO reading, battery range, riding mode, speed, navigation, etc. The screen looks quite sizeable and easy to read that will aid the riders.

The Ather 450S will be powered by a 3 kWh battery pack and will get an IDC (Indian Driving Conditions) claimed range of 115 km on full charge. It gets a top speed of 90 km/hr.
