Aston Martin Vantage S Revealed, Features Aerodynamic Improvements

Aston Martin has revealed the Vantage S, the most track-focused version of its third-generation sports car so far. It marks the return of the ‘S’ badge on a Vantage, last used in 2018. This follows the DBX S as Aston revives the name for its high-performance models.

Styling

Visually, the Vantage S is marked by satin black 21-inch alloy wheels and new blade-style front air intakes. Distinctive ‘S’ badging appears both inside and out. These changes visually differentiate it from the standard model.

Aston Martin has focused on improving cornering speed and high-speed stability for track use. A new ducktail spoiler shifts downforce balance towards the front. Combined with updated underbody and front aero, it generates 111 Kg of downforce at top speed.

Engine

The Vantage S features a reworked 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 671 HP and 800 NM of torque. Torque is now accessible between 3000 RPM and 6000 RPM, offering stronger mid-range performance. Power delivery is sharper thanks to updated drive-by-wire throttle calibration.

Acceleration has improved with a 0-100 Km/hr time of 3.3 seconds. Despite the improvements, it trails the Ferrari Amalfi’s acceleration times. The Vantage S maintains its top speed of 325 Km/hr.

Pricing

Pricing for the Vantage S starts at approximately GBP 170,000 or Rs. 1.97 crore in the UK market. Deliveries are expected to begin in October 2025. It’s Aston Martin’s most serious attempt yet at a track-oriented Vantage.
