2014 Auto Expo – Quick Facts
The Indian Auto Expo is the biggest automobile event in the country, which takes place once every two years. Next year’s Auto Expo is the 12th edition of the popular motor show and is going to be the biggest yet. In fact to felicitate the grandness of the exhibition, the organisers have done the wise thing of shifting the biennial event to a new location which as you guessed it right is bigger than before, moving out of Pragati Maidan. There is a lot of expectation from the Auto Expo as all manufacturers throng the floor to showcase the best from their lineup.
We all know some world debuts will happen at the Auto Expo, like it has happened before with Toyota and Honda both unveiling their compact offerings at the 2010 edition. Companies are sure to showcase products from their global lineup which might not be sold in India, so that’s a good place to see these vehicles in person. However some automobiles will make their world premiere at the 2014 Auto Expo including the new Bajaj cruiser, Hyundai Grand i10 compact sedan, Maruti YL7 hatchback and Tata Falcon to name a few.
