Nissan India not only unveiled the Evalia MPV at the 2012 Auto Expo but also showcased a few interesting vehicles, which caught the eyes and attention of all the show-goers. As you enter the Nissan hall, the first thing you see is the red-hot 370Z, right behind which stands the awesome and eye-catching GT-R. The Nissan GT-R looks mind blowing in person and there is no denying the fact that Nissan engineers have given the Godzilla stunning looks indeed. The highly acclaimed Nissan Leaf, which is a zero-emissions electric vehicle and won car of the year 2011 was present as well. Many environment lovers have been asking us when this car will be available to us Indians, answer – not anytime soon!

The Japanese automaker also displayed its entire line-up of cars which it sells in the country, including the Micra, Sunny and X-Trail. The engines of the Nissan Sunny were displayed and gave an insight on the technology which goes behind the k9k diesel motor which is the heartbeat of many cars from the Renault-Nissan stable. A one-off Concept was shown as well. Known as the Compact Sports Concept (CSC), this vehicle seems to be based on the Micra with a tinge of NISMO thrown in. The CSC might give future direction of design to Nissan’s upcoming hatchbacks.
