Nissan Tekton Spotted

The upcoming Nissan Tekton has been seen without camouflage for the first time ahead of its global reveal scheduled for July 9. The SUV was reportedly photographed during the filming of a promotional advertisement, offering a clear view of its rear design before its official unveiling.

Images circulating online show the Tekton alongside a camera vehicle equipped for the commercial shoot. While the leaked image appears to have been digitally enhanced, it reveals several exterior styling elements expected on the production model.

At the rear, the SUV features wraparound LED tail lamps connected by a full-width LED light bar with an illuminated Nissan logo positioned at the centre. The tailgate also carries prominent ‘Tekton’ badging, while the rear bumper adopts a robust design with a contrasting silver skid plate-style insert.

The Tekton is based on the same platform as the new Renault Duster and is expected to share much of its mechanical package. Engine options are likely to include 1.0-litre and 1.3-litre turbo-petrol units, paired with both manual and automatic transmission choices, depending on the variant.

Nissan is expected to reveal complete specifications, features and market plans for the Tekton when it officially debuts on July 9.
