2025 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition gets cosmetic tweaks & added features

Toyota has introduced the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition, bringing subtle styling revisions and a handful of added features to its popular SUV. The special edition will be available as a dealer-level fitment, which means pricing may differ depending on the region. Bookings are set to begin next week.

Exterior Updates

The Leader Edition features a refreshed front design that includes a new grille with latticed slats and bold ‘FORTUNER’ lettering above. Chrome accents around the grille have been blacked out, while the skid plate and bumper have been mildly redesigned for a layered but less aggressive look. The SUV also gets new black-finished 18-inch alloy wheels and a revised rear bumper. Customers can choose from four dual-tone paint schemes – Attitude Black, Pearl White, Silver Metallic and Super White, each paired with a contrasting black roof.

Interior Enhancements

Inside, Toyota has opted for a new black-and-maroon upholstery theme for the seats and door panels. While the overall cabin layout remains unchanged, the Leader Edition introduces additional convenience features such as auto-folding outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), illuminated scuff plates and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Powertrain Options

The Fortuner Leader Edition is offered exclusively with the diesel 4×2 variants. It is powered by the familiar 2.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine, producing 204 HP and 500 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
