Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Adds Bentley To Portfolio In India, Creates New Entity ‘Bentley India’

Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has added Bentley to its portfolio in India. This means that the group will import, distribute and service Bentleys in India. Previously, Bentley has been operating in India by importing vehicles using Exclusive Motors.

The merger with SAVWIPL has created a new entity known as Bentley India. This entity will be in charge of all the operations with respect to sales and after-sales in the country. Bentley will also open new dealerships in Mumbai and Bengaluru, with another one to open in New Delhi as well.

Outlook

This merger comes at a strategic time as Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UNHI) have been increasing in the country. It helps the brand to invest heavily in the country and deliver on the uncompromising levels of luxury.
