Mahindra XUV700 5-Seater Versions Discontinued, Price Hiked For The Base MX Variant

Mahindra has delisted the XUV700’s 5-seater versions, i.e. MX, AX5, AX5 S, from their website. It means that the SUV is only available in 6-seater and 7-seater configurations. This has resulted in the base price increase to Rs. 14.49 Lakh (ex-showroom) from Rs. 13.99 Lakh (ex-showroom).

The Mahindra XUV700 is currently on sale with 43 variants including the latest Ebony Edition. As of present, the base MX variant is priced at Rs. 14.49 Lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to the top-spec AX7 L diesel automatic AWD Ebony Edition, priced at Rs. 25.15 Lakh (ex-showroom).

The XUV700 is available with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 200 HP and 380 Nm of torque. There is also a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine producing 155 HP and 360 Nm of torque, or 185 HP and 420-450 Nm of torque. These engines are mated to either a 6-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission. The AWD is only available with diesel powertrains.
