Force Gurkha 5-door spy video shows the exterior and interior of the SUV in its undisguised avatar. This particular model spotted is made for the export market. It’ll be exported to Indonesia.
In terms of design, it looks exactly the same as its 3-door version. The vehicle has been stretched to accommodate two extra doors and more interior room for the passengers.
It will be available with multiple seating options including captain seats and a bench seat while the third row interestingly gets two individual front facing seats.
The interior layout is basic like the 3-door version, sharing the same dark theme across the cabin. The plastics look cheap and there are huge panel gaps and inconsistent gaps on the dashboard. Gets the same aftermarket-looking touchscreen and manual switches on the centre console.
It’ll be powered by the same 2.6-litre diesel engine producing 90 PS and 250 Nm torque, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. To be equipped with 4×4 system.
It is expected to go on sale in the next few weeks as the car has started arriving at dealerships. It’ll compete with the yet to be launched Mahindra Thar and Maruti Jimny 5-door versions. For now it has no competition in the Indian market.
