BMW Dealers Promoting Bikes In India

BMW Motorrad has not officially entered India but a few BMW dealers are selling superbikes by importing them directly. These dealerships are located in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore and have the complete line up of BMW motocycles on sale, priced between Rs. 20 – 35 lakhs. The most recent ones to reach Indian shores is the K 1300 R with the K1600 GT and K1600 GTL also being promoted through newspaper medium. BMW should seriously consider setting up shop in India officially. A decision of CKD operation for the German superbikes will just be an added bonus.
