Toyota Hilux Teased Ahead Of 20th January Launch [Video]

The teaser video of the Toyota Hilux has been released in the nick of time

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has released a new teaser video of the Hilux pickup truck that will be launched in the Indian market on 20th January, 2022.

The vehicle will be sold in India in 5 colour choices and only as a double cab model and will come equipped with LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels and loads of chrome exterior embellishments.

In the cabin, the Hilux will have an 8-inch central touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, auto air-con, leather upholstery for the seats, and numerous safety features.

Power will come from a 2.8-litre turbodiesel motor tuned to produce 204 PS and up to 500 Nm. The engine can be teamed to either a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox which will be teamed to a 4-wheel drive system.

Likely to cost around Rs. 30 lakhs (ex-showroom), the primary rival to the Isuzu V-Cross will come with a 3 year or 1 lakh km standard warranty (extendable).

With the Toyota Hilux teaser released and launch date disclosed, all that remains to be officially revealed is the date from which the pickup truck’s deliveries.
