Just look at the year-on-year growth column for the chart!

In November 2021, 150cc bike sales dropped by 36 percent in comparison with the same period from 2020

TVS’ Apache series beat its rivals to claim the top spot of the 150cc bike sales chart for November 2021. But, its position is only provisional to say the least.

The actual leader of the 150cc segment last month was the Honda Unicorn which registered sales of 15,555 units. The aged motorcycle continues to be a strong product for the Japanese brand.

Then comes with Bajaj Pulsar 150 which has suffered badly due to rising costs and due to the popularity that the Pulsar 125 enjoys. In all, 13,084 units of the 150cc bike were retailed by the automaker last month.

Yamaha’s refreshed R15 has been hitting the mark every month and with assistance from the V3S, the supersport-style bike brought in 8392 units for the Japanese brand in November.

Fifth place in the November 2021 150cc bike sales chart went to the Yamaha FZ which registered sales of 7624 units, while the Hero Xtreme was next with 3251 unit sales.

Over 2700 units of the MT-15 were retailed by Yamaha last month, while Bajaj sold 2055 units of its Avenger Street 160 during the same period.

The last 2 positions in the list were occupied by the Suzuki Gixxer (1705 units) and Honda CB200X (1247 units). The Suzuki Intruder (16 units), Hornet 2.0 (1 unit) did not do well and the Honda X-Blade did not manage to find a single buyer last month.

Overall, the top 10 150cc motorcycles registered sales of 84,248 units combined, which is a massive 36 percent decline in sales over the same period a year before.
