BSA Motorcycles To Rise & Fly Again, Reveals New Logo

BSA Motorcycles is set to be relaunched in the UK next week

BSA Motorcycles, which is set to make a comeback, has revealed its new logo through its social media handles.

The once legendary 2-wheeler brand will be officially relaunched next week in Birmingham at the Motorcycle Live 2021 show (4th-12th December).

Owned by Mahindra’s subsidiary Classic Legends since 2016, the British brand, which was originally founded in 1861 as a gun manufacturer, is expected to launch a 650cc motorcycle soon.

Test mules of the same have been spotted in India already and initially, BSA products are likely to be manufactured in India (at Classic Legends’ Pithampur factory) and exported abroad before production commences in the UK next year.

However, the brand will also embrace the future and introduce electric motorcycles in time. It was even awarded a multi-million pound grant by the UK government to develop electric bikes in Banbury.

The new BSA Motorcycles logo is a modernised and simplified version of the brand’s old logo (of which there has been many over the course of time).

The presence of the wing in the logo is rather poetic and reminds one that the brand, which sold 1 in every 4 motorcycles across the globe in the ’50s, will fly high once again.
