2021 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Single Channel ABS Equipped With Ride Modes
The 2021 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V single channel ABS model comes with a price tag of Rs. 1,28,020/- (ex-showroom Delhi), for it is now equipped with ride modes and adjustable Showa front suspension, among other features.
Three-step adjustable brake and clutch levers and a slipper clutch are the other additions to the 200cc motorcycle with the single channel ABS that comes with 3 color options, namely Gloss Black, Matte Blue and Pearl White.
The 3 ride modes that the 2021 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V price fetches are “Rain”, “Urban” and “Sport”. While the “Rain” mode primes the ABS for early and maximum response, the “Urban” mode is for inner city commutes.
In “Sport” mode, the bike makes the maximum power and torque (20.82 PS and 17.25 Nm) and has sharp acceleration, claims TVS. Also, ABS is mapped for least intervention and highest permissible slip percentage.
Top speed is now rated at 127 km/hr with the “Sport” mode and 105 km/hr in the other 2 modes. This is due to power and torque outputs being reduced to 17.32 PS and 16.51 Nm in the “Rain” and “Urban” modes.
A dedicated drive mode switch is present near the throttle for the rider to switch between the ride modes on the fly. All the above mentioned changes were introduced last year in the dual channel ABS variant of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
