Honda had planned to offer different versions of the bike right from the get-go

Honda is set to unveil the H’ness CB350 cafe racer, but before that we imagine how the motorcycle might look with this render.

Expected to be called the H’ness CB350 RS, this model will be based on the brand’s H’ness CB350 that has just crossed the 10,000-unit sales milestone in India.

The Japanese firm has only shared a teaser of the motorcycle thus far, showing us revised the rear profile and the new seat.

Admittedly, our Honda H’ness CB350 cafe race render is just a figment of our imagination and the real model could, well, look a bit different.

New parts the bike will have include slim LED tail light and indicators, a plastic mudguard, while the rear suspension and the exhaust will come in black. Also, the cafe racer will also run on different tyres that will suit its new attitude.

It is expected that Honda will offer a set of clip-ons and push the rider’s foot pegs rearward, to provide a more sportier seating position. Furthermore, model-specific graphics and new paint schemes are also expected to feature on the CB350 cafe racer.

These changes aside, the bike is expected to get the same set of features as the regular CB350 and be powered by the same 348cc engine that puts out 21 HP and 30 Nm.

While the motor is refined, a bit more power would not go amiss and similarly, a different suspension setup would also be welcome to aid the more sporty appeal of the bike.

Expect Honda to launch the motorcycle soon and price it at a premium over the H’ness CB350’s asking rate which is set between Rs. 1.86 lakhs and Rs. 1.92 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) at present.
