Force Motors SUV Spied In Pune

Force Motors is expected to launch its SUV any time soon and the recent spy pictures help us to better understand how the upcoming machine will look once launched in May, 2011. The Force SUV was spotted neat Boat Club Road in Pune and will be powered by a 2.2 liter motor producing 140bhp of power and 320Nm of torque. However the company is detuning power ratings to increase fuel efficiency and is working hard on the NVH levels of their upcoming offering. The engine is being used under license from Daimler, and the Force SUV will be priced around Rs. 10 lakhs.

“The powertrain technology being offered would be best in the segment. The SUV uses a C-in-C chassis that’s been designed and developed in-house by Force Motors. We are very happy with the performance of our prototypes,” Prasan Firodia, MD, Force Motors said.
