Tata Motors Sells 1 Lakhs CVs

Tata Motors has become the first Indian company to produce one lakh commercial vehicles in a financial year. The company’s world truck has helped significantly in achieving this feat. The company manufacturers two models of the world truck at its Jamshedpur facility. Tata Motors will introduce 8 more models of the world truck by the end of 2012.

“It is really a proud moment for the company as Tata Motors has become the country’s first automobile company to produce one lakh commercial vehicles in a financial year,” Ravi Pisharody, president of commercial vehicle business unit, Tata Motors said.
