BS6 Hero HF Deluxe Kick-Start Launched, Priced From Rs. 46,800/-

More affordable kick-start variants launched for the HF Deluxe.

BS6 Hero HF Deluxe now comes with kick-start variants. It is priced from Rs. 46,800/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). The kick-start model is available in two versions – spoke wheel and alloy wheel.

With the introduction of kick-start, Hero has made it more accessible to a wider audience. There is a considerable difference of Rs. 9,875/- between kick and self start variants of BS6 Hero HF Deluxe price.

Apart from these changes, the HF Deluxe remains the same. It was launched with electric start in December last year. Back then, Hero only introduced two variants – self start standard and i3s.

Even the self start variant price has increased by Rs. 750/- compared to when it was launched. The bike was updated with new graphics and colours.

It is available in combinations of black with red, black with purple and black with grey. There are two new colour options of techno blue and heavy grey with green.

Compared to the BS4 model, the BS6 engine comes with 9 percent better fuel efficiency and acceleration.

Powering the bike is a 97.2cc, air-cooled, FI engine producing 8 PS at 8000 RPM and 8.05 Nm torque at 6000 RPM. This engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox.

The bike gets telescopic shock absorber at the front and 2-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. Both front and rear get 130 mm drum brakes.

It has 805 mm of seat height while the ground clearance is 165 mm. The fuel tank capacity is 9.6-litres. The bike weighs 109 kgs for the kick variant and 112 kgs for the electric start variant.
