2011 Volkswagen Passat Launch On March 29

Volkswagen India will launch the next generation Passat on the 29th of March, 2011. Although the 2011 Passat is based on its predecessor, the body panels have been changed to give it a more appealing appearance. Volkswagen will offer the new Passat in two engine variants, the 2.0 TDi diesel with 170bhp of power, 32bhp up on the current model and 1.8 TSi petrol. The new Passat will be available in both manual and DSG transmissions with a slight hike in price.
