TVS Apache RTR 180 BS6 Launched, Priced At Rs. 1.01 Lakhs

BS6 TVS Apache RTR 180 is here with slightly more power output.

TVS has updated the RTR 180 with a BS6 compliant engine. The updated motorcycle is priced at Rs. 1.01 lakhs (ex-showroom). The price has increased by Rs. 6704/- over the BS4 version.

There are no changes in styling, it continues to come with racing graphics, 3D logos, single-piece seat, semi-digital instrument cluster, clip-on handle bars, etc.

The updated engine is a BS6 compliant 177.4cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 2-valve unit. It comes with an oil-cooler and fuel-injection system christened as Race Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-Fi).

The power output has been increased by 0.17 PS taking it up to 16.79 PS. However, the torque output remains same at 15.5 Nm.

TVS has added the GTT (Glide Through Traffic) tech in the updated RTR 180 for better convenience in congested traffic.

Suspension remains the same with telescopic forks up front and monoshock at the rear. Gets the same 270 mm front petal disc and 200 mm rear petal disc. Equipped with single-channel ABS.
