Hyundai Sonata/i45 Spied In India

Hyundai recently launched the Santa Fe in India and met with good success. Now the company plans to expand its premium offerings in the country with the launch of the new 2011 Sonata/i45. The Sonata/i45 seen on test here is powered by a 2.4 liter Theta II GDI engine producing 198bhp of power at 6300Rpm and 250Nm of torque at 4250Rpm. The i45 will replace the Sonata Transform and will be priced at Rs. 15 lakhs. Hyundai should launch a diesel variant too, which will be a cause of concern for Honda, Toyota, Skoda and Volkswagen.
