Honda Activa BS6 Under Development, To Get More Features

Honda is in the process of developing a BS6-compliant version of the Activa with a lot of major changes.

The Honda Activa is the highest selling scooter in the Indian market and it has maintained its position since the past many years. Honda sold 30 lakh units of the scooter last year and registered a 4% fall in sales. However, despite the decline in growth, the Activa remained the highest seller even though a lot of new rivals have entered the market.

It has now been learnt that Honda is working a completely new Activa which will be BS6 compliant and will be based on a new platform. The company has stated that they do understand that market dynamics and customer needs are changing and they will adapt to all this.

The company is closely monitoring new feature trends in the market and the new Activa will also have new connectivity features. It has also been said that the scooter will come with many more features that customers might not even be aware of.

Not only the Activa, Honda is all set to revamp its entire line-up. The company will give major changes to their products to make them BS6 compliant and ready to tackle the competition. Other 2-wheelers in Honda’s line-up will also get a new platform.
