Yamaha To Launch FZ1 In December

Yamaha will launch the FZ1 in India next month. The bike will be brought via the SKD route, giving it an advantage in pricing and making it the cheapest liter class bike at a price of Rs. 8 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The FZ1 will directly compete with the CB1000R (the current cheapest 1000cc bike on sale in the country). The FZ1 recently completed homologation at ARAI in Pune. The Yamaha FZ1 is powered by a 998cc liquid cooled motor producing 150PS of power at 11000rpm.
