Maruti Baleno, S-Cross, Vitara Brezza Steering Assembly Being Replaced

Maruti Suzuki is replacing the steering column assembly on the Baleno, S-Cross and Vitara for customers complaining of abnormal noise.

Maruti Suzuki has sent out a letter to its service centres asking them to replace the steering column assembly free of cost if any customer of any of these cars reports of a sticky movement of the steering along with an abnormal noise.

The free replacement will come with an additional warranty of 3 years, meaning a total of 2+3 = 5 years. Even for cars that have run out of warranty, the replacement will be done for free. This applies to the Vitara Brezza, S-Cross and petrol & diesel versions of the Baleno.
