Hero Honda May Export To Africa

Hero Honda company is considering exporting motorcycles to Tanzania which are more suitable for rural farmers. The company has send marketing executives to Tanzania to conduct a feasibility study. If the study turns out positive, then the world’s biggest manufacturer will start exporting the Splendor to Africa, but doesn’t plan to set up a plant there, atleast not in the near future. Honda is not impressed as they have a good base in Africa and the entry of Hero could affect their sales.
