Maruti Suzuki Exports Cross 8 Lakh Units

Maruti Suzuki, the country’s largest car maker by volume has recently exceeded export of 8 lakh units. The company took close to 23 years for this achievement after it made its first shipment of 500 vehicles overseas. 25% of the exports have been thanks to the A-Star, which is the company’s hottest model in the overseas markets. Of the total, two lakh units are of in less than 20 months of starting the overseas shipment of the A-Star.
