Volkswagen Launches Polo 1.6

Volkswagen launched the ‘power packed’ 1.6 version of the Polo today. Priced at Rs 6.16 Lakhs (Ex showroom Delhi), the Polo 1.6 will be powered by a 1.6 litre 4 cylinder petrol engine with an output of 105PS @ 5250 rpm and a torque of 153NM @ 3750 rpm and is expected to return a fuel efficiency of 15.96 km/l.

Polo continues to get the body colored bumpers, chrome strip in front grille, body colored outside door handles & mirrors, galvanized body with 6 years anti-corrosion warranty and 15 inch alloy wheels.

The interior of this car comes with gear shift knobs and interior door handles in chrome, chrome interior trims, storage compartments for 1 liter bottles, 60/40 split folding rear seats and superior ‘livon’ upholstery.

The Polo 1.6 will be equipped with front disc brakes, ABS, front airbags for driver and co-driver and electronic anti theft immobilizer. It will also offer multi function information display including door opening warning, height adjustable driving seats, adjustable power steering that improves drive comfort, rear defogger and power locks with remote transmitters.

Manufactured in Volkswagen plant at Chakan, Pune, the 1.6 Polo is available for immediate delivery.
