2015 Maruti S-Cross Test Drive Review
Most of the sales of the S-Cross 1.6 come from the Alpha trim as per Maruti

The Maruti S-Cross was launched in 2015 and while the vehicle doesn’t sell like hot cakes, it is definitely bringing in decent sales for the automaker. The crossover is offered with a choice of 2 diesel engines – 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre. Most of the sales have been coming from the 1.3-litre variants while the 1.6-litre engine is preferred by those who want that extra power.

Maruti has now discontinued the Delta and Zeta trims of the 1.6-litre engine. The larger engine will now be offered only on the top Alpha trim. The 1.3-litre engine remains unaffected and it continues to be offered in the Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha variants. The S-Cross 1.3 is priced between Rs. 8.78-10.63 lakhs while the Alpha 1.6 is priced at Rs. 12.03 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
