Toyota India Suspends Booking Of Fortuner

Toyota India has suspended bookings for the Fortuner till July in order to clear backlog of bookings. The Japanese car major is also changing faulty brake kits of the vehicle following complaints from 220 customers. The average waiting period for the Toyota Fortuner is around six months and the company doesn’t want its customers to wait. Toyota said its suspension of bookings will continue until the time when the waiting period comes down to three months. As of date the company has pending order of over 6,000 units.
