The ‘Tornadoes’ have broken the world record of the maximum number of people on a motorcycle. The new record has been put on a Bullet 500cc with cast iron engine, carrying a total of 54 men for a distance of 1.1 kms at the Yehlanka Air Force base in Bangalore. The earlier record was set by Corps of Military Police on a Royal Enfield bike with 48 people on board. The record was set on a stock bike with no modifications whatsoever. The ‘Tornadoes’ was raised in 1982 after having given a stupendous display of daredevilry in the 1982 Asian Games.
