50 Units Of Hayabusa & Intruder Sold

Suzuki India has sold 50 units of the Hayabusa and Intruder M1800R since its launch in India. The Hayabusa comes with 1,340cc engine, the Intruder is equipped with 1,783cc V-twin engine. Both the bikes are imported from Japan and attract a duty of 105%. The company has set a target of selling one bike (between the two models) per day, which is around 300-365 units in a year.

Suzuki has sold 23 units of the Hayabusa and 28 units of the Intruder in Delhi, Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai. The superbikes have been launched in 7 cities – Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai and Ahmedabad, and are priced at Rs. 12.5 lakh (ex-showroom India).
