Suzuki Teases Next-Gen S-Cross Abroad

The 2022 Suzuki S-Cross teaser campaign has begun ahead of the car’s 25th November debut

Suzuki has started the teaser campaign for the new generation S-Cross which will be officially revealed come 25th November.

While Suzuki UK posted a teaser video (see above) on its social media handles that only showed the headlight and part of the bonnet of the crossover, the brand’s Greek website has much more information.

Apart from showing the silhouette of the current generation S-Cross, the website also had the words “Cross the line, the best family 4×4 SUV we have ever made!”, making it rather clear what model is set to make its debut 13 days from now.

In addition, on the Greek website, there is a paragraph which states that the new S-Cross has been completely redesigned for 2022. In addition, the website reveals that the car will be a hybrid, have 4-wheel drive and have a dynamic character.

In comparison, Suzuki UK’s 2022 S-Cross teaser only had the sentences “Get ready for some exciting news” and “Watch. This. Space.” in the description.

It is expected that the upcoming 2022 S-Cross will use an updated version of Suzuki’s 1.4-litre turbo-petrol mild-hybrid power unit overseas.

In India, provided that the new generation S-Cross does come here, the crossover should make use of the same powertrain that will feature in the upcoming second-generation Vitara Brezza and it will not have the AllGrip 4-wheel drive system.
