2020 Tata Nexon Petrol Gets More Power

Tata Nexon has got a more powerful 1.2-litre BS6 turbo petrol engine.

A wide range of Tata cars got a facelift with the BS6 update including Tiago, Tigor and Nexon. With new features and updated styling on offer, the engines have also been updated to BS6.

The 1.5-litre diesel engine remains the same producing 110 PS and 260 Nm but the power comes in at a lower 3750 RPM. The 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine gets a huge bump in power and now produces 120 PS and 170 Nm compared to 110 PS power output of the previous engine.

The engine displacement of the 1.2-litre petrol engine has also been increased slightly from 1198cc to 1199cc. Both the engine are offered with 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT gearbox options.
