The updated 2017 Honda Dio BS4 has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 53,385/-.
Honda has now launched the updated version of the Dio in India and it is priced at Rs. 53,385/- (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The scooter is BS4 compliant and gets AHO with an LED light on the top. Apart from that, it gets some cosmetic changes while mechanicals remain similar.
The front apron comes with a smiling light element along with new DRLs near the side indicators. The scooter also gets updated colour schemes and a dual tone front apron now. The 2017 Honda Dio gets the following colours – Pearl Sports Yellow, Vibrant Orange, Sports Red, Matte Axis Grey Metallic and Candy Jazz Blue. The initial two colours are new in the line-up while the Candy Palm Green shade has been discontinued.
The engine is the same 109.19cc, 4-stroke, fan-cooled unit producing 8 HP at 7000 RPM and 8.91 Nm at 5500 RPM. The engine is mated to a V-Matic transmission with top speed rated at 83 km/hr. The Dio gets drum brakes with CBS and tube type suspension. The fuel tank capacity is 5.3-litres while kerb weight is 103 kgs.
