Some patent images of the 2017 Bajaj Chetak have been leaked, revealing some details.
The Bajaj Chetak has been one of the most popular and iconic scooters in India. There have been rumours of Bajaj Auto bringing back the Chetak brand but this time around, some images showing patent designs of the Chetak and some of its parts have been leaked. No exact timeframe about the scooter’s launch is known but we can expect it to be launched after 10-12 months at least.
On the styling front, the 2017 Bajaj Chetak looks like a blend of retro and modern. It comes with a contrast seat cover along with various other design elements. On the looks of it, Bajaj will target the Vespa range with the new Chetak. Engine details are not yet known but it will most likely come with a 125cc engine.
