The 2011 Maruti Suzuki Swift is just months away from its Indian arrival. As we wait, the car has already received the safest supermini tag in the UK. The 2011 Suzuki Swift has received 4 stars from Euro NCAP, which is less than what the Fiat Grande Punto and the Volkswagen Polo managed. The reason why the new Swift received the highest number of votes can be attributed to the safety features it comes with as standard. The car has ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, driver and passenger airbags, curtain airbags, seat belt pre-tensioners and is made of high tensile steel. Our Indian model won’t feature all of this but will certainly be safer than the current model.
